Juvenile Corrections Center- Taiwan

During the Christmas season of 2016, I was asked to participate in a program for about 80 young men a Taiwanese Correction Center.
Ages ranging from 17-21 these young men have been incarcerated for crimes such drugs, robbery, assault and gangster related crimes. It was a very precious and unique moment to share my personal story of having been a soldier and how I came to know Christ. There was not a lot of reaction to my message, and I sensed a feeling of lack of self worth, no hope, and skepticism. But I challenged them about asking Jesus in their hearts, there was dead silence. I asked if any was sick, and if so God could and wants to heal them on the spot! Again the silence and nervous smiles but one young man asked to pray against an allergy . He came forward & after praying with me in front of all his fellow prisoners, he began to testify of an immediate change, so much everyone clapped for him at the amazement that we could command healing! Though I wished to prayed for more , time was over , and the inmates needed to get back to their routine. But we had a made a “crack” and it had an effect. We were escorted out the building, then I heard my name called , and two or three of the prisoners reached through the prison bars to give me a piece of chocolate. With smiles on their faces, it was their way of saying “thank you” for coming & what we had done for them . We left the prison section, with it’s lock down doors and took pictures of the guards who greatly appreciated us taking the time to share some Christmas cheer! Looking forward to next year! |

JOY with CHRISTMAS ANGELS

Joy, my wife, bringing a little bit of Jesus at Christmas to these Taiwanese students. She led several of them to receive Jesus over the holiday season.

RIDING WITH HARLEY-DAVIDSON BIKERS at CHRISTMAS

On Christmas Eve 2016, I received an unexpected request from our dear friend, "Hata", a road captain of one of the largest Harley Davidson motorbike clubs in Taiwan.
He asked me to join him on a Charity Ride but needed me to dress like "Santa Claus". I have always refused to be a "Santa" at Christmas , but I took the opportunity to ride with over 100 bikers all through the city of Taipei. With the noise of the engines and the many other "Santa Claus" bikers riding together, we attracted hundreds of onlookers and bystanders out Christmas shopping. I took this opportunity to hand out Christmas tracts resulting in three souls and hundreds of tracts distributed and lots of publicly posted on Facebook posts and other media.
